I am happy to announce The Haiti Projekt, which includes my track "For You", as well as songs form Neal Morse, Roine Stolt, IZZ, Randy George, David Meros, and many others. Steve Brockmann, born in 1965 near Hamburg, Germany, has played an active role in Northern Germany's music scene since the early 1980s. Being the creative head of various bands, he has played gigs on many stages between Germany's most popular holiday island Sylt (up in the very North) and the orchards of Lower Saxony. Amongst others, he has played support gigs for such rock legends as Uriah Heep, Moody Marsden Band, and Hawkwind. After having spent some time roaming the North and living out his Rock'n'Roll road movie, Steve mainly concentrates his musical work on various projects in his personal studio. Steve's latest project is the rock opera AIRS, written with George Andrade from Massachusetts, USA and featuring the amazing voice talents of Floor Kraaijvanger of "Superfloor" from the Netherlands, Gordon Tittsworth of "Images of Eden" from Pennsylvania USA, Tilman Eckelt of "The Grailknights" from Germany, Andi Sailer of "Schafe im Elektrozaun" from Germany, and Cornelius Kappabani from Germany. Principle writing for AIRS has been completed, and in-studio production has begun - look for this soulful, old school rock opera to be released in late 2010! |
